As a part of our mission to support the development of STEM teachers at all levels, the STEM Education and Research Center is proud to offer a range of professional development opportunities.

K-12 Professional Development

Based on an assessment of the individual school district needs, the STEM Center provides tailored and sustained ongoing professional development to support STEM teachers throughout the school year. Personalized professional development helps teachers develop skills and strategies to plan and improve instruction in their classrooms.

East Texas Math Teachers’ Circle

The East Texas Math Teachers’ Circle is an opportunity for school mathematics teachers to rediscover their love for mathematics by exploring problem solving with SFA and guest mathematics faculty. These meetings are free to attend and open to any interested public and private school mathematics teachers, home school teachers and student teachers.

For more information, including meeting schedule and details, visit the ETMTC webpage.
