- On 2/13/2026 an officer was dispatched to the lobby of UPD in reference to theft. The complainant stated, between 2/5/2026 and 2/13/2026, her unsecure bicycle was stolen from the bike rack at Kerr hall. There are no suspects.
- On 2/13/2026 an officer attempted to stop a subject on a bicycle on East College St. for a traffic violation. The subject refused to stop and fled from officers on the bicycle and then on foot. There are no suspects.
- On 2/15/2026 officers arrested a subject for a theft warrant and transported the subject to the Nacogdoches County Jail. During the pre-booking process the subject was found to be in possession of a THC vape pen. The subject was then also charged with prohibited substance in a correctional facility. There is one suspect.
- Feb. 12–13
- On 2-12-2026, UT officers responded to the Student Recreation Center in reference to theft. The complainant stated he had a firearm in a backpack in the men’s locker room at the recreation center. The complainant stated he left the backpack in the locker room and unattended. When he returned to the locker room he noticed the firearm was missing. There are no suspects.
- On 2-12-2026, a UT officer responded to the Aikman Parking Garage in reference to a hit and run. The complainant stated that she noticed that her vehicle was damaged on 2-11-2026. The complainant stated that the vehicle had been parked for about a week before she noticed the damage. There are no suspects.
- On 2-12-2026, a UT officer was dispatched to Hall 14 in reference to a theft. The complainant stated they left their unsecured electric scooter in front of Hall 14. The complainant states that when she returned a few hors later the scooter was missing. There is one suspect.

- Feb. 10–11
- On 2/10/2026 officers were dispatched to Griffith hall in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, the officers discovered that a subject that had been previously issued a criminal trespass warning from Griffith hall was involved in the disturbance. The subject was located at Steen hall and arrested for criminal trespass, and then transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail without incident. There is one suspect.
- On 2/10/2026 an officer was dispatched to the lobby of UPD in reference to hit and run. The complainant stated on 2/10/2026 her vehicle was damaged in lot 14. There are no suspects.
- Feb. 9–10 — On 2/9/2026, a UT officer on patrol found graffiti on the top floor of the Wilson Parking Garage. Security camera footage shows multiple suspects spray painting the wall on the top floor of the garage. This incident is under investigation.
- Feb. 6–9 — On 2-6-2026, UT officers were called to Lot 26 in reference to a disturbance between a male and female student. While on scene UT officers found that the female student was in possession of alcohol and under the age of 21. The female student was issued a citation for minor in possession of alcohol.

- Feb. 2–3 — On 2/2/2026, UT officers were dispatched to a residence at Lumberjack Village in reference to a smoke alarm. Officers arrived and smelled a strong odor of marihuana coming from inside the residence. The resident gave officers consent to search his bedroom where they located marihuana. The resident was issued a class b summons for possession of marihuana.
