Mission Statement

The Department of Allied Health Studies is committed to excellence in teaching, research, and service within a learner-centered environment that cultivates professional competence, ethical leadership and lifelong learning. We prepare students for meaningful careers through innovative instruction, hands-on clinical and community-based experiences, scholarly inquiry, evidence-based practices and interdisciplinary collaboration. By integrating service-learning and community engagement into our programs, we strengthen both student development and the health and well-being of the communities we serve.
