Notify your instructors. Every semester, every course.

The Office of Disability Services will email students with approved, registered accommodation needs when it's time to submit your faculty notification letters. Take action on this prior to the semester start! It is your responsibility to give your instructor advance notice of your accommodation needs to allow adequate preparation.

Steps to submit notification letters

Log in to the AIM Student Portal.

  1. Select each course in need of a notification letter.
    • Include courses in which you may be unsure if accommodations will be needed.
  2. Review each course carefully to determine the most appropriate services needed for the course type.
  3. Choose appropriate accommodations needed for each course.

What's next?

  1. Your submitted request will be reviewed and sent to your instructor.
  2. A confirmation email will be provided to you for each course notification.
  3. Communicate with your instructor. 
    • Set an appointment with your instructor to discuss how the accommodations will be implemented in their course and talk through any specific questions or concerns.
