Fall 2025

  • April 1–June 1
    • Apply on time for graduation
      • Graduation fee for five-year BBA/MPAC candidates: $100
      • Graduation fee for all other candidates: $50

      Apply via email — MSW advanced-track graduates and students with special instruction only

  • June 2–Nov. 15
    • Apply late for graduation
      • Late graduation fee for five-year BBA/MPAC candidates: $200
      • Late graduation fee for all other candidates: $100

  • Aug. 8
  • Oct. 20
  • Oct. 24
    • Candidates applying after this date may not appear in the ceremony program and should expect to be seated last in the ceremony lineup.

      All candidates for graduation: Last day to complete the confirm graduation details form.

      Not planning to attend commencement? Be sure to let us know on your form.

    • Still need a cap and gown?

      The Alumni Association will have regalia to purchase 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. Visit the Pearman Alumni Center near Ring Plaza.

  • Dec. 11–12
  • Dec. 12

    • Last day to email graduation@sfasu.edu regarding any diploma mailing address changes. Include your name and campus ID number.

    • Conferral for fall 2025 graduates — Conferral date may differ from commencement ceremony date. For more information view key terms to know.

  • Dec. 17

    • "Hold for Degree" transcripts for fall 2025 graduates begin being processed.

  • Jan. 12

    • Final deadline for all outstanding items for fall 2025 graduation to be resolved (transferred courses, withheld grades, etc.)

  • Jan. 14

    • Email regarding diploma delivery information will be sent to fall 2025 graduates' mySFA email.

Spring 2026

  • Dates TBA

    • TBA: Conferral for all spring 2026 graduates — Conferral date may differ from commencement ceremony date. For more information view key terms to know.

    • TBA: Confirm graduation details — Form available in mySFA for a limited time

    • TBA: All candidates for graduation: Last day to complete the confirm graduation details form.
