Youth Protection

SFA is committed to ensuring a safe and supportive environment for the campus community and visitors. Throughout the year, we offer coordinated opportunities for minors, introducing them to our traditions and culture while providing a nurturing future Lumberjack experience.

The well-being of minors is monitored closely in accordance with institutional and legal obligations. The youth protection website and HOP policy 05-503 provide guidance and promote the safety of youth participants on campus or at an SFA-sponsored event. The university’s faculty, staff, students and external personnel, including camp administrators, are dedicated to complying with this policy and promoting health, wellness and security among youth involved in SFA activities.
