Karyn Hall
As Assistant Vice President for Institutional Research and Effectiveness and Chief Data Officer, Karyn provides executive leadership as the university’s lead institutional research and data authority. In this role, she oversees the Office of Strategic Analytics and Institutional Research and the Office of Institutional Assessment and Accreditation, with university‑wide responsibility for institutional data integrity and management, strategic decision support, accountability, and institutional research activities across all divisions.
Karyn supports university strategic operations and planning by defining, communicating, and driving the implementation of data governance and data management methodologies, identifying process improvement opportunities, and promoting data sharing to support cost savings and improved information management outcomes.
In addition to serving as the Texas agency Data Management Officer and guiding the Data Governance Steering Council, Karyn oversees the SFA Data Standards Team.

Courtney Burns
As Executive Director for Undergraduate Admissions, Courtney is an executive leader responsible for the leadership and oversight of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. In this role, Courtney provides strategic guidance and direction for undergraduate admissions operations, recruitment initiatives, and enrollment planning efforts. Courtney works collaboratively with academic and administrative partners across the university to strengthen recruitment strategies and support undergraduate enrollment goals.

Mike Coffee
Mike serves as Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer, providing executive leadership for the university’s information technology strategy and operations. In this role, he oversees SFA information resources to ensure they are used effectively to advance the university’s mission and strategic goals. His responsibilities include directing Information Technology Services, encompassing the project management office, enterprise resource planning systems, telecommunications, networking, and technical support services.
Mike leads the development of information system objectives aligned with institutional priorities, facilitates campus‑wide collaboration on IT initiatives, and works closely with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to safeguard information assets through effective policies, procedures, and security practices.
In addition to his Data Governance Steering Council role, Mike leads the Data Governance Sharing Focus Group.

Marc Guidry
Marc provides executive leadership in Academic Affairs, supporting the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs in advancing the university’s academic mission. In this role, he assists with the oversight of key academic operations and provides leadership in academic planning, program implementation, curriculum development, and the integration of new technologies into the teaching and learning process. Marc works collaboratively with academic and administrative partners to support institutional goals and enhance the effectiveness of academic programs.

Judi holds the position of Vice President of Finance and is responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight of the university’s financial functions, including budget development and management, financial reporting, accounting, treasury operations, business services, procurement, and payroll.

Brandon Stringfield
As the Chief Information Security Officer, Brandon is an executive leader responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of the university’s information security program and the leadership of the information security team. In this role, he provides strategic guidance, subject‑matter expertise, and problem‑solving support related to information security policies, practices, tools, enforcement, and regulatory compliance.Brandon ensures the protection of institutional information assets while aligning information security initiatives with the university’s broader goals and objectives.
In addition to his Data Governance Steering Council role, Brandon leads the Data Governance Compliance Focus Group.
