Operations

The SFA Data Governance Steering Council leads operations for an institutional data governance effort involving experts, supportive areas, and interested parties.  Focused efforts include, but are not limited to, the data functions of literacy, sharing, management, and compliance.  Executive SFA leadership positions collaboratively administer and facilitate SFA data governance.

The SFA Chief Data Management Officer serves as the leader for the institutional data governance program as designated in state requirements. The Chief Information Officer serves on the SFA Data Governance Steering Council and coordinates with the DMO in fulfilling statutory provisions.  Other executive leaders representing various areas ensure SFA divisions are connected and involved as needed.
