Data Sharing is a primary initiative of SFA Data Governance which focuses on topics such as data availability, improvements and planning, and asset coordination The Data Sharing Focus Group facilitates efforts and engages internal and external constituents as needed to ensure a successful SFA data sharing program.
SFA data sharing prioritizes compliance and aligns appropriate business resource usage to support the roles and responsibilities of each data consumer or end user, maximizing overall university effectiveness.

Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer
Mike provides executive leadership for the university’s information technology strategy and operations. In this role, he oversees SFA information resources to ensure they are used effectively to advance the university’s mission and strategic goals. His responsibilities include directing Information Technology Services, encompassing the project management office, enterprise resource planning systems, telecommunications, networking, and technical support services. Mike leads the development of information system objectives aligned with institutional priorities, facilitates campus‑wide collaboration on IT initiatives, and works closely with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to safeguard information assets through effective policies, procedures, and security practices.
