Student Experience Project

SFA is proud to partner with UT System and the Raikes Foundation to offer faculty the opportunity to participate in the Student Experience Project, or SEP. The SEP aims to improve college success by transforming the student experience. With a focus on building community and a sense of belonging on campus, the principles of the SEP help improve student persistence and degree completion. SFA faculty in an SEP cohort will collaborate with their peers to apply SEP principles to our academic programs to help students overcome academic challenges and graduate successfully.

SFA is one of 16 institutions participating in the AY 2025-2026 SEP national cohort. Other institutions include Ohio State University, Texas A&M University, North Carolina State University, the University of Minnesota, and more.
