July 1 deadline for piano/strings camp registration


NACOGDOCHES, TEXAS - Strings and piano students from across the state still have time to register for a one-week strings and piano camp presented by the Stephen F. Austin State University School of Music Sunday, July 7, through Friday, July 12.

July 1 is the deadline for registration in the camp, according to Gene Moon, SFA director of orchestral activities and the camp administrator.

Through each day of the camp, strings and piano students in seventh through 12th grades will be immersed in quality music making in group and one-on-one master class situations, Moon said.
