NACOGDOCHES, TEXAS - The Stephen F. Austin State University bands will present a free "Concert in the Park" at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 1, in the wooded area between the Baker Pattillo Student Center and the Wright Music Building on the SFA campus.

Beginning at 1 p.m., Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma, honorary band service fraternity and sorority, will be selling $5 hamburger plates that include a hamburger, chips and a drink.

NACOGDOCHES, TEXAS - The Stephen F. Austin State University School of Music will honor David Lee Lambert with the Outstanding Music Alumnus Award on Friday, April 29, during Extravaganza 24.

Stephen F. Austin State University will honor six faculty members at the Teaching Excellence Convocation on Wednesday, April 13, in the Regents Suites A and B in the Baker Pattillo Student Center. A reception for the honorees will begin at 3:30 p.m. followed by the Teaching Excellence Convocation at 4 p.m.
