Welcome! We're here to provide support and service throughout your time as a Rusche College of Business student. Our door is always open, and the advising team is here to answer or help find answers to your questions.

Are you an undecided business major? The Office of Student Services is the place to get advised! Advisors evaluate your college credit, including transfer credit, and work with you to ensure you are on the right path to graduation.

Beyond your academics, our professional development services help prepare you for your future career. We also offer nonacademic support, including wellness resources, to help you be the best version of you. Explore our services below and let us know how we can help!

Academic Advising

Our office provides a wide range of assistance to guide students from admission to graduation. Advising services include:

  • advising for
    • undecided business majors
    • first-time transfer students
    • probation and suspension students
  • assistance with declaring or changing your major or minor
  • evaluation of transfer courses
  • and help resolving registration issues.

Finding your advisor

To find your advisor or to make an appointment, follow the steps below:

  1. Log into mySFA.
  2. Click on "Advising" in the menu.
  3. In the "My Advisor" portal, go to your assigned advisor.
  4. Click on "Schedule an appointment with your advisor."

Professional Development

Equipping students with knowledge and experience to launch their careers with confidence, the Career Success Passport is a professional development and career readiness program. All business majors are required to enroll in this zero-cost, zero-credit course each semester, gaining access to scholarship opportunities, networking events and support in helping you prepare for your future career. The Faculty Career Mentor Program assigns business faculty members to students pursuing a business degree, guiding the student in setting and achieving their career goals. This program, available for business students with 60 or more credit hours and good academic standing follows a "use as you need it, when you need it" format. Nonacademic Support

We recognize that several factors can impact academic performance and create obstacles to a timely graduation. Rusche Reboot is a support service for undergraduate business students who may need help finding potential solutions to nonacademic issues.
