The Jim and Beth Kingham Children’s Garden was established with community support as a tranquil and beautiful outdoor space for learning. A timber frame pavilion is the garden’s centerpiece and was built in one day by the Timber Framers Guild of North America in 1998. Gardens surrounding the pavilion feature pollinator-friendly plants that provide habitat for bees, butterflies, birds, beetles and bats. The garden is named in honor of Jim and Beth Kingham, enthusiastic supporters of SFA and the Nacogdoches community.

The garden is located on East College Street, west of the William R. Johnson Coliseum (view on the interactive map or see site 22 on the downloadable map). Parking is available after 4 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends on East College Street or in the SFA Commuter Lot accessible from University Drive.
