Program is in development
Peer support for connection, belonging and student wellbeing.
The Lumberjack Connection Program connects you with peer mentors through a referral from your advisor or instructors. Referrals also may come from student conduct office, Residence Life, SFA staff members or other student support offices.
Our trained peer mentors provide you genuine encouragement through the following support measures:
- building community
- involvement in campus activities and organizations
- access to campus resources
- navigating adjustment to college life
- strengthen your sense of belonging at SFA
This program focuses on peer support and connection, not academic tutoring or counseling services.
Can I benefit from a connection?
If you're feeling isolated, a desire to become more involved and needing encouragement or experiencing difficulty adjusting to campus life, you may benefit from participating in the Lumberjack Connection Program. If you're referred to the program by someone else, let's chat. Someone who cares for your wellbeing believes you may benefit from additional support.
