Online graduate certificate in teaching college psychology

In addition to our in-house program, we offer an 18-hour online graduate certificate in teaching college psychology. The certificate is designed for individuals who already have a master’s degree and who want to increase their marketability by becoming qualified to teach psychology courses in community colleges and/or dual credit courses. Students take coursework in psychology subfields that are commonly taught at community colleges as well as receive mentorship and training in teaching the subfields. Students take a capstone course in order to develop innovative and effective teaching skills based on Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) research.
