  • April 13–14 — On 4/13/2026, a UT officer responded to Steen Hall to meet with a complainant in reference to a hit and run. The complainant stated that between 4/11/2026 and 4/13/2026 their unattended vehicle was damaged while parked in Lot 42. There are no suspects.
  • April 10–13
    • On 4/10/2026, a UT officer conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of University Drive and East Starr Street for a traffic violation. As the vehicle stopped the officer noticed the vehicle was occupied two times. Before the officer exited his patrol car the driver of the vehicle being stopped fled from their vehicle on foot. The officer stayed with the other occupant of the suspect vehicle. At this time the suspect has not been located or identified. There is one suspect.
    • On 4/11/2026, a UT officer stopped a vehicle on East College Street for a traffic violation. The officer did a record check on the driver who showed to have an active arrest warrant through Nacogdoches PD for Collision Involving Damage to Vehicle. The driver was arrested for the warrant and transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail without incident.

  • April 6–7 — On 4/6/2026, a UT officer met with a complainant at UPD in reference to a theft. The complainant stated that between 3/23/2026 and 3/24/2026 their headphones were taken from the Pineywoods Cafeteria. There are no suspects.

    • On 4-1-2026, UT officers were dispatched to North Hall in reference to harassment. The female complainant stated that a male suspect had followed her to her room. Officers found and identified the male suspect outside of North Hall. The suspect was found to be in possession of marihuana and resisted officers while being placed under arrest. The suspect was arrested for possession of marihuana and resisting arrest and transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail without incident.
    • On 4-1-2026, A UT officer stopped a vehicle on Starr Avenue for a traffic violation. The driver of the vehicle was found to have an active arrest warrant through Nacogdoches County for Failure to Appear/Possession of a Controlled Substance, State Jail Felony. The driver was arrested for the warrant and transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail without incident.
