- Oct. 15–16
- On 10/15/2026, an officer met with a complainant at the Village Parking Garage in reference to a hit and run. The complainant stated that they were struck by another vehicle in the garage and the vehicle had fled the scene. There is one suspect.
- On 10/15/2026, officers were dispatched to Hall 20 in reference to a suspicious person. As officers arrived, they were advised by bystanders that a male suspect had damaged a refrigerator at the stadium. Officers saw that the refrigerator was damaged but were unable to locate the suspect. A criminal mischief report was taken. There is one suspect.
- On 10-15-2026, an officer was dispatched to Lumberjack Village to meet with a complainant in reference to an indecent assault. The complainant stated on 10/12/2026, they were assaulted by a known subject at a residence in Lumberjack Village. There is one suspect.
- Oct. 14–15
- On 10/14/2026, an officer responded to Lot 53 to meet with a complainant in reference to a hit and run. The complainant stated that a vehicle struck her vehicle in parking lot 53 then left the scene before they could exchange information. There is one suspect.
- On 10/14/2026, an officer met with a complainant at UPD in reference to a theft. The complainant stated on 10/14/2026, they placed their property in an unsecured locker at the Student Recreation Center. The complainant stated when they returned to the locker their property was missing. There are no suspects.
- Oct. 13–14 — No reports
- Oct. 12–13 — On 10-13-2026 an Officer made contact with a suspicious vehicle in lot 61. The officer discovered the vehicle full of smoke that had the odor of marihuana, and five subjects inside the vehicle. The officer located one subject in possession of two THC vapes. The subject was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail without incident. There is one suspect.
- Oct. 7–12
- On 10-9-2026 an officer arrested a subject at the student recreation center who had been previously criminal trespassed from SFA’s campus. The subject was arrested for criminal trespass and transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail without incident. There is one suspect.
- On 10-8-2026 an officer was dispatched to Nacogdoches Medical Center North in reference to sexual assault. The officer made contact with the complainant, who advised on 10/8/2026 was sexually assaulted by a known subject at Hall 14. This case is still under investigation. There is one suspect.
- On 10-7-2026 an officer was dispatched to Lumberjack Village building one in reference to drug use. The officer located a subject in possession of a THC vape pen. The subject was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail without incident. There is one suspect.
- On 10-7-2026 an officer was dispatched to Griffith Hall in reference to theft. The complainant advised on 10/7/2026 his secured scooter was stolen from the bike rack at Griffith Hall. There is one suspect.
- Oct. 6–7 — On 10/6/2026, an officer met with a complainant at Kerr Hall in reference to a theft. The complainant stated between 10/3/2026 and 10/6/2026 someone took their unsecured electric scooter from the back entrance of Kerr Hall. There are no suspects.
- Oct. 5–6
- On 10/2/2026, officers were dispatched to Griffith Hall in reference to an alcohol violation. Officers contacted a student who was in possession of alcohol inside of Griffith Hall. The student was under 21 years of age and was issued a citation for minor in possession of alcohol. There is one suspect.
- On 10/2/2026, officers met with a complainant at UPD in reference to harassment. The complainant stated that they have been receiving several texts and phone calls from anonymous numbers regarding concerning comments. There is no suspect.
- On 10/5/2026, an officer met with a complainant at UPD in reference to a theft. The complainant stated on 10/4/2026, several laundry items of theirs were removed from the laundry room in Griffith Hall. There are no suspects.

State law requires persons convicted of or placed on deferred community supervision for certain offenses to register as a sexual offender. Offenders who committed sexually violent offenses (most contact offenses) must register for the remainder of their life, even after completing probation or parole.
