The Office of Assessment and Accountability offers technology support to all students enrolled in the James I. Perkins College of Education. Students will need to access several cloud-based systems throughout their studies. These systems include Qualtrics, LiveText and the LiveText Field Experience Module.

Qualtrics is an online survey and data collection platform used for evaluations, feedback, assessment and data research. The software also makes it possible to evaluate and analyze collected data.
- Log into Qualtrics.
- Enter your mySFA email address.
- Use access code gZi39 in the password prompt.
- Follow on-screen directions.
A centralized data management system, faculty members utilize LiveText to collect critical assessments of students pursuing a degree within the Perkins College of Education, as well as students outside the education college who are earning a teacher certification.
If you are a student needing a LiveText account, you will receive an email, sent to your student email address, from firstname.lastname@example.org with your account set up information, including a unique "membership key" code. If you forward your student email to another account and do not receive an email about LiveText registration, check your junk mail folder and spam filter for this email. Once you receive this email, visit livetext.com. When you are prompted, enter the unique code to complete your account registration. If you have any questions during the registration process, use the LiveText technical support information below.
Important: Failure to activate the account or submit required assignments within the LiveText system may result in course failure.
Field Experience Module
Available in the dashboard tabs of your LiveText account, the Field Experience Module is used by students to track field experiences and communicate during the clinical practice semesters.
