The primary purpose of the Lumberjack Food Pantry is to lead the way in the reduction of food insecurity on the SFA campus. We identify and raise awareness of campus-specific needs and collaborate with campus departments and student organizations.
Distribution
Current SFA students are eligible to receive food distribution. Students who live off campus are eligible to receive two boxes of food per month, while students who live on campus may receive one box of food per month.
Donation wish list
The following items are essential for keeping our pantry well-stocked:
- Canned vegetables
- Boxed or packaged rice
- Rice and pasta sides
- Macaroni and cheese
- Spaghetti and pasta sauce
- Boxed cereal
- Oatmeal (boxes or individual packages)
- Spices, salt, pepper
- Condiments
- Juice
- Canned fruit
- Peanut butter and jelly
- Canned or packaged beans
- Canned entrées
- Soup
- Canned meat
Monetary donations
A one-time or recurring tax-deductible donation may be arranged through the Office of Development. If you're an SFA faculty or staff member, inquire about the payroll deduction option!
