The Pantry

The primary purpose of The Pantry is to lead the way in the reduction of food insecurity on the SFA campus through identifying and raising awareness of campus specific needs, and collaborating with campus departments and student organizations.

Hours:

All registered SFA students are able to receive food distribution. The Pantry is located on the 3rd floor of the Baker Pattillo Student Center in the Commons.

**Currently The Pantry is open by appointment only, but still serving students in FULL capacity. Should you need assistance please contact Scarleth Lopez at lopezs10@jacks.sfasu.edu or 936.468.1378.

How can I access The Pantry?
The Pantry is open year-round to all students from 8am to 5pm every weekday. To schedule an appointment, please submit your request form to this link. You can also access the link through your mySFA under the Campus Life tab.
How often can I use The Pantry?
Students who live off campus are eligible to receive 2 boxes each month, and students who live on campus are eligible to receive 1 box each month. However, The Pantry will not turn away any student in need. Submit your request form here.
How can I donate to The Pantry?
  • Donate food items to the Baker Pattillo Student Center room 3.301 from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.
  • Set up a one-time or recurring tax-deductible donation through the SFA Office of Development's online giving page.
  • Faculty/Staff can contact the Office of Development to request a Payroll Deduction form.
  • If you would like to donate funds by money or cashier's check, please make payable to Stephen F. Austin Pantry and can be delivered to:

Nacogdoches HOPE is a community supported food pantry that provides supplemental food to Nacogdoches County residents in need. They are open Mondays and Thursdays from 9am to 11:30am. Find their websites here.
