Pantry of food and baby-related items

Available to all currently enrolled SFA students, the Lumberjack Pantry is dedicated to helping with basic needs, including food, hygiene and baby-related items.

  • Food items include:
    • refrigerated
    • frozen
    • nonperishable
    • and other.
  • Hygiene items include:
    • Sample bags with a toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, deodorant, sanitary napkins, and more.
  • Baby-related items include:
    • diapers
    • wipes
    • bottles
    • and more.

Shop online

The Lumberjack Pantry uses PantrySoft, an online platform that allows you to shop online for the items you need.

To receive items, you must first register online with PantrySoft, the online platform used by the Lumberjack Pantry. The next business day after you register, you'll receive points to start shopping. Students who live off campus receive 100 points per month for food and necessities, while students who live on campus receive 50 points per month for food and necessities. Parenting students will receive points based on their individual needs.

As part of the shopping experience, you'll select a desired date and time you'd like to pick up your items.

Pickup locations

Baby items, hygiene samples and non-refrigerated/non-frozen food

Pickup window: 24/7 after you receive notification to pick up.

Items that do not need to be refrigerated or frozen are picked up at the Lumberjack Pantry lockers located in the Baker Pattillo Student Center next to the entrance of Food Hall 1923. 

Refrigerated and frozen items

Items that must stay cold or frozen are kept at the Health and Wellness Hub for pickup. Visit the hub through the east entrance, on the side of the building facing Lumberjack Lodge closest to East College Street. 

Pickup window:

  • 2-4 p.m., Monday - Wednesday
  • 10 a.m. - Noon, Friday

Orders that are not picked up within 48 hours will be canceled.

Donation and distribution

Donations and item distributions occur at the hub during regular office hours.

The East Texas Food Bank serves 26 counties, including Nacogdoches and Angelina.
