Pre-Law, minor

Law schools accept all accredited baccalaureate degrees with any major and minor in specific academic areas.

Completing a minor in pre-law, regardless of your major, ensures you hold the core legal skills the American Bar Association recommends. To be successful in law school, you'll need strong analytical, writing, critical reading, oral communication and general research skills.

SFA's minor in pre-law is designed to help you develop and master these skills. You'll become exposed to the foundation of legal writing, analysis and research. You also will become prepared to better understand how the law influences politics, social institutions and ethics in America.
