JacksTeach provides students the opportunity to explore the profession of teaching in STEM fields. Through this program, you can prepare to earn a secondary teacher certification at the same time you are completing your four-year degree in mathematics, chemistry or biology

As you move toward a possible career in teaching, you will receive ongoing instruction in lesson design, classroom management, and science and mathematics content. Explore your opportunities and practice your skills through a specifically designed set of courses.

Why become a teacher? STEM educators are in high demand and often earn extra stipends. Their work and vacation schedules are family-friendly. And most importantly, you will make a positive impact on the lives of young people every day.

JacksTeach is funded by The Greater Texas Foundation, the T.L.L. Temple Foundation and the James I. Perkins Family Foundation.
