Partnersip between SFA's James I Perkins College of Education and Millard's Crossing result in unique opportunity for students of Nettie Marshall Academy of Dual Language

Izaiden Thomas Blanton, a third-grader at Nettie Marshall Academy of Dual Language, practices pushing an old hand tiller through a patch of soil at Millard's Crossing Historic Village. The garden work was one of 10 stations at which the students learned about life before modern conveniences during the Hands on History field trip Thursday. The event is a partnership between Stephen F. Austin State University's James I. Perkins College of Education and Millard's Crossing.
