Students who pursue a Master of Science in Forestry can choose to specialize in any of the subject areas in the Arthur Temple College of Forestry, including:
- Silviculture
- Forest ecology
- Hydrology and watershed management
- Soil science
- Forest economics
- Human dimensions in natural resources and resource interpretation
- Wildlife management
- Agroforestry
- Urban forestry
- Forest entomology
The Master of Science in Forestry is a thesis degree program. Students must conduct a thesis research project and write and defend their thesis work.
