Tailor your experience by selecting a concentration that fits your goals. Our program supports a wide range of artistic disciplines, including animation, ceramics, drawing, filmmaking, graphic design, art metals/jewelry, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture. You’ll work closely with dedicated faculty to build a professional-grade portfolio.

Admission requirements
To be eligible for consideration into the School of Arts' MA or MFA program, you must:
- meet the SFA Graduate School requirements.
- and achieve a 2.5 GPA overall and 3.0 GPA in the major for clear admission.
Ready to complete your application?
- Apply to the Graduate School.
- Send the following three items directly to the School of Art:
- Your Portfolio: A collection of 20 art pieces, provided either via an online link or on a USB drive.
- Career Goals: A written statement explaining your professional objectives.
- Recommendations: Three completed recommendation forms.
