Defining your expertise
The Economics, BBA program is 120 credit-hours and often called the business economics degree. This program serves as an excellent choice for aspiring analysts, financial advisors and brokers. It even allows you the opportunity to get a head start on your MBA. This curriculum focuses on specialized training in business theory and practice.
Note: If you're wanting a well-rounded educational background with cultural competency, choose the Bachelor of Arts in economics program.
Regardless of the economics degree path you choose, you'll focus on core economic principles and analytical methods. There's fundamental coursework in macroeconomics and microeconomics. You'll also build technical skills in money and banking as well as applied statistics.
Customize your education by selecting 12 hours of advanced economics electives. You have the freedom to pick 3000- or 4000-level courses that align with your specific interests. You may choose to add a minor of 18 to 24 hours to broaden your knowledge base further.

Priority deadlines
SFA has rolling admissions. That means you can apply to the university anytime. Although, applying early has financial and housing benefits. Make sure to check with your specific department! Some programs need extra paperwork by a certain date to consider you for the upcoming semester.
