Economics drives the events shaping our global community. Grasping these concepts prepares you to navigate complex financial landscapes and make informed decisions in any sector. A degree in economics opens doors to high-paying roles across private, public and nonprofit organizations. Your studies provide a solid foundation for graduate school, law school or a Master of Business Administration program.

Defining your expertise

The Economics, BA program is 120 credit-hours and will provide you a well-rounded educational background. You'll complete four semesters of a foreign language to build cultural competency. This path offers flexibility as it does not require the same core coursework as the BBA programs.

Note: If you're wanting to gain specialized training in business theory and practice, or even get a head start on your MBA, choose the Business Economics, BBA program.

SFA has rolling admissions. That means you can apply to the university anytime. Although, applying early has financial and housing benefits. Make sure to check with your specific department! Some programs need extra paperwork by a certain date to consider you for the upcoming semester.
