Overview

This concentration is offered within the Bachelor of Arts, English program.

Analysis for a digital world

The concentration in genre, media, and culture challenges you to redefine what constitutes a "text." It goes beyond traditional literature. You’ll examine how our understanding of cultural forces is constructed by film, digital games, visual rhetoric and social media.

Connecting traditional storytelling and modern multi-media formats, you'll develop a versatile perspective that is essential in today’s communication-heavy landscape.
