You'll build a custom plan by selecting three distinct areas of study. These chosen disciplines will integrate to form a coherent theme, giving you a competitive edge in your career. Whether you combine biology, business, and communication, or psychology with sociology and family studies, you'll create a unique academic identity.

To get started, you'll meet with the academic advisor to declare your major and map out your coursework. This personalized approach ensures your studies directly support your long-term ambitions.

How it works

The program requires 120 total credit hours. You'll complete 42 hours of core curriculum requirements, followed by 18 hours in each of your three chosen discipline areas.

Core curriculum: 42 credit hours.
Three discipline areas: 18 credit hours each.
Professional seminars: Two required courses.
Total degree: 120 credit hours.

Requirements for admission to SFA

All applicants must meet the undergraduate admission requirements. Select the option that best describes you:

First-year student (have never enrolled in college)

Priority deadlines

SFA has rolling admissions. That means you can apply to the university anytime. Although, applying early has financial and housing benefits. Make sure to check with your specific department! Some programs need extra paperwork by a certain date to consider you for the upcoming semester.
