Rigorous curriculum
You'll study exercise testing, clinical-exercise prescription, dietary planning, movement, and injury prevention to boost health and performance. Courses in behavior change and communication teach you to educate and motivate others.
Courses in the psychology of behavior change and effective communication teach you to educate and motivate others. Combined with hands-on clinical and field experiences, this program prepares you for careers in clinical medicine, physical rehabilitation, fitness, athletic strength and conditioning, and more.
Prepare for certification
You'll acquire knowledge and skills to support your preparation for professional certification. The American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) establish their own eligibility requirements and specific criteria may change.

SFA has rolling admissions. That means you can apply to the university anytime. Although, applying early has financial and housing benefits. Make sure to check with your specific department! Some programs need extra paperwork by a certain date to consider you for the upcoming semester.
