Speech-Language Pathology, MS

Female Asian speech therapist and little girl with mirror pronouncing letters in office
Overview

Change lives through communication

Help people of all ages communicate more effectively and swallow safely. Whether you work with infants or seniors, you’ll help your clients participate fully in their communities. Come gain a deeper understanding of how to diagnose and treat speech and language disorders.

Hands-on experience

You’ll get hands-on experience through our in-house clinic, the Stanley Center for Speech and Language Disorders. You'll perform on-site speech and language evaluations, and work with clients of all ages to assess, diagnose and treat various communication disorders.

Our partnership with the Parkinson Voice Project's SPEAK OUT!® program provides opportunity for you to help clients regain and maintain their speaking abilities.

Cohort size

We limit our in-person cohort to 25 students per year to ensure you receive the best mentorship opportunities. On even-numbered years (2028, 2030, 2032, etc), we allow up to 10 distance-education students to enroll in the cohort and attend classes via Zoom.
