Fall 2025

Ceremony dates: Dec. 11-12

Apply on time April 1 to June 1

The conferral date for all fall 2025 graduates is Dec. 12, 2025. This may differ from the student's commencement ceremony date. For more information view key terms to know.

June 2 - Nov. 15	Apply late via mySFA* Late graduation fee: • Five-year BBA/MPAC candidates: $200 • All other candidates for graduation: $100 ^*MSW advanced-track graduates and students with special instruction only: Apply late via email.
Aug. 8	Purchase your commencement regalia! View details about purchasing your regalia.
Oct. 20	Confirm graduation details The Confirm Graduation Details link in mySFA becomes available for a limited time.
Oct. 24	Candidates applying after this date may not appear in the ceremony program and should expect to be seated last in the ceremony lineup.
Nov. 5 5 p.m. No exceptions	All candidates for graduation: Last day to complete the "Confirm Graduation Details" form. Not planning to attend commencement? Be sure to let us know on your form. If you've already applied to graduate, check your student email for instructions on accessing and completing the form (sender: graduation@sfasu.edu).
Nov. 9 11:59 p.m.	Last day to order your official SFA commencement regalia and have it shipped to your home. View details about purchasing your regalia.
Dec. 8–10	Still need a cap and gown? The Alumni Association will have regalia to purchase 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. Visit the Pearman Alumni Center near Ring Plaza.
Dec. 11-12	Commencement ceremonies View ceremony schedule and information: For Graduates \| For Guests
Dec. 12	Last day to email graduation@sfasu.edu regarding any diploma mailing address changes. Include your name and campus ID number.
Date TBA	"Hold for Degree" transcripts for fall 2025 graduates begin being processed.
Date TBA	Final deadline for all outstanding items for fall 2025 graduation to be resolved (transferred courses, withheld grades, etc.)
Date TBA	Email regarding diploma delivery information will be sent to fall 2025 graduates' mySFA email.

Spring 2026
