Design your teaching legacy

You’ll earn a Bachelor of Science in education with a concentration in special education. This program readies you to teach students from early childhood through 12th grade. Complete your field experiences in real classrooms, partnering with local school districts to gain hands-on training.

You’ll connect with fellow students through the Student Council for Exceptional Children. This group lets you network with peers and learn from professionals in the field before you even graduate.

SFA has rolling admissions. That means you can apply to the university anytime. Although, applying early has financial and housing benefits. Make sure to check with your specific department! Some programs need extra paperwork by a certain date to consider you for the upcoming semester.
