Path to certification

You'll take specialized coursework alongside hands-on clinical teaching. Classes cover everything from food science and merchandising to curriculum design and student motivation. You'll complete clinical teaching hours in a secondary learning community.

You'll seek composite certification through the Texas Education Agency. You must complete the degree program and pass the required state exams to become fully certified.
