Do you dream of making a tangible difference in the lives of others? We designed this fully online program for students like you. It explores how people grow and change over time. You'll gain an in-depth look at the physical, emotional and psychological factors that shape behavior.

Courses cover the lifelong process of human development. Class topics range from early child development to gerontology.

Gaining practical field experience

We don't overlook the importance of direct experience just because the classes are online. You'll complete a 200-hour practicum to help you grow in your specific area of interest. You'll also have professional development opportunities like field trips and volunteering.

Path to certification

This program is recognized by the National Council on Family Relations. You'll be able to apply for the provisional-level Certified Family Life Educator credential using an abbreviated application process. This makes you eligible to maintain certification upon graduation.
