Our Mission and Vision
The mission of the Center for Teaching and Learning is to support, strengthen and promote teaching effectiveness and student learning.
Our vision is to serve as collaborators and catalysts in a community that advances teaching and learning.
Our Responsibilities
CTL’s major responsibilities include:
- working with stakeholders across campus to increase teaching effectiveness.
- working with stakeholders across campus to promote learning improvement.
- working with stakeholders across campus to improve learning experience design in courses across all modalities.
- providing educator development opportunities.
- collaborating on and coordinating federal, regional and state distance education reporting.
- providing distance education support (Brightspace, Zoom, etc.) to faculty members and students.
CTL is part of the Lumberjack Learning Commons.
Our Team
The CTL staff is comprised of seven full-time staff members. Learn more about each of our staff members and contact them. Our full-time staff is supported by five student-workers, most of whom provide support for Brightspace and Zoom.
