What is Camp CTL?

Camp CTL is a free, fun-filled, come-and-go faculty development event held annually each August, designed to help faculty members prepare for the upcoming semester. 

Now in its 15th year, Camp CTL includes:

  • workshops on a range of teaching and learning topics and technologies
  • one-on-one assistance with course design and Brightspace
  • collaboration with colleagues and CTL staff
  • and lunch on the final day.

CTL invites you to join us for Camp CTL 2026 – Building Learning that Lasts

Camp CTL 2026 is scheduled for the following dates:

  • August 12-13: Virtual (online) sessions starting at 10 a.m.
  • August 17: Virtual (online) sessions in the afternoon, with a focus on information and skills that will help new faculty start the semester strong!
  • August 18: Hybrid sessions (in person and online) starting at 10 a.m.

When is Camp CTL?

Camp CTL is held yearly around the second week of August.

What types of sessions are offered at Camp CTL?

The CTL team is dedicated to offering sessions in a variety of modalities to provide the greatest level of access. These include:

  • Hybrid - these sessions will be simultaneously delivered in person and via livestream/Zoom.
  • Livestream - these sessions will be delivered via Zoom. To attend, complete the appropriate session registration form for each session (linked in the schedule below).
  • Face-to-face - these sessions will only be available in person.
