Advanced Topics in Brightspace Certificate

Development

Designed for faculty who are already adept at using Brightspace, these workshops focus on advanced tools and topics. Offerings will vary each semester.

Just as with the Brightspace Foundations series, the advanced workshops will include discussions of practical use cases and pedagogical best practices. Participants will be encouraged to engage with one another, sharing insights, advice, and tips of their own.

To earn an Advanced Topics in Brightspace certificate, simply attend any four advanced Brightspace workshops. Workshops counting towards fulfillment of the certificate will be noted as such in their descriptions in myTraining, as well as on the CTL Events calendar.

  • To earn this certificate, participants must complete 4 advanced Brightspace workshops within 2 years
  • Workshops counting towards fulfillment typically range from 1 to 2 hours in length
  • Topics will vary over time

Note: Only advanced Brightspace workshops attended from fall 2024 onward will count towards this certificate.
