Sculpture is the art of occupying space, and our MFA concentration is designed to help you command it. We look beyond the object to the environment, helping you hone your spatial intelligence.
Whether your practice involves welding, carving, casting or ephemeral installation, you'll interrogate the physical world and your impact upon it.

Admission requirements
To be eligible for consideration into the School of Arts' MA or MFA program, you must:
- meet the SFA Graduate School requirements.
- and achieve a 2.5 GPA overall and 3.0 GPA in the major for clear admission.
Ready to complete your application?
- Apply to the Graduate School.
- Send the following three items directly to the School of Art:
- Your Portfolio: A collection of 20 art pieces, provided either via an online link or on a USB drive.
- Career Goals: A written statement explaining your professional objectives.
- Recommendations: Three completed recommendation forms.
