Favorite SFA tradition: Homecoming and axe handles
While I was at SFA. I always loved Homecoming weekend. There is always so much going on, and seeing all the students and alumni come together to support SFA was amazing. Since I graduated, SFA started the axe handle decorating tradition, and I have come to love this tradition as well. I actually received my first axe handle from one of my students who attended SFA and decorated it herself to give to me. I treasure that!
