Important: If you're enrolled in more than one summer part-of-term, your amount due must be paid by the due date of the earliest part-of-term for which you're enrolled. For example, if you're enrolled in Maymester and summer I classes, the payment for both parts-of-term is due May 8.

Summer 2026 key dates

- Payment on current amounts due:
- Full summer payment: due May 7 — Your amount due will include all enrolled parts-of-term.
- Maymester payment: due May 7 — Your amount due will include all enrolled parts-of-term.
- Summer I payment: due May 28 — Your amount due will include all enrolled parts-of-term, if enrolled.
- Summer II payment: due July 3
Important: If you're enrolled in more than one summer part-of-term, your amount due must be paid by the due date of the earliest part-of-term for which you're enrolled. For example, if you're enrolled in Maymester and summer I classes, the payment for both parts-of-term is due May 8.

- Payment plans: If you have a $0 prior balance, you may enroll in the following payment plans. First payment is due before financial aid is posted to student accounts.
- Payment option 1: Early Summer 2026 Payment Plan with four equal monthly installments.
- Payment option 2: Summer 2026 Payment Plan with four installments.
- April 30
- Past-due balances due to avoid being dropped from summer courses.
- Early Summer 2026 Payment Plan (with four equal monthly installments) enrollees: First installment is due if you enrolled in this option. A $25 late installment fee is charged if installment is not paid by this deadline.
- May 1
- Any past due balance amounting to $200 or more will result in your being dropped from all of your registered courses at noon.
- Short-term loans begin. You must have a $0 prior balance. Visit the Student Business Services website for more information.
- May 7
- Payment due date — Amount due will include other enrolled summer parts-of-term. This must be paid through one of the following options:
- make payment in full
- make installment through payment plan, if you enrolled in this option
- or apply for a short-term loan.
- Summer 2026 Payment Plan (four installments) enrollees: First installment is due if you enrolled in this option. A $25 late installment fee is charged if installment is not paid by this deadline.
- Payment due date — Amount due will include other enrolled summer parts-of-term. This must be paid through one of the following options:
- May 8
- Noon drop for nonpayment for all summer classes.
- Deadline to withdraw with 100% refund for Maymester and full summer courses. View the withdrawal refund schedule for more information.

- Maymester and full summer semesters begin.
- May 12
- Maymester: 5 p.m. deadline to drop with 100% refund. You must remain enrolled in at least one course to be eligible for a 100% refund on a dropped course.
- May 13
- Manual drop for nonpayment of current amounts due at noon for Maymester courses.
- Maymester: Late add fee begins. You'll be charged $50 per credit hour and may add classes only upon approval from the course instructor, department chair and academic dean.
- Maymester: Reinstatement Fee begins. You'll be charged $50 per credit hour if you're re-registering for a course from which you were previously dropped.
- May 22
- Financial aid is posted to student accounts.
- May 28
- Payment due date for summer I — Amount due will include summer II if enrolled. This must be paid through one of the following options:
- make payment in full
- make installment through payment plan, if you enrolled in this option
- or apply for a short-term loan.
- Full Summer: 5 p.m. deadline to drop with 100% refund. You must remain enrolled in at least one course to be eligible for a 100% refund on a dropped course.

Refunds upon withdrawal
A student officially withdrawing from the university is eligible for a refund of tuition and certain fees according to the following schedules:
Dropped course refund schedule
A student dropping one or more classes but taking more than zero hours is eligible for a 100% refund of tuition and certain fees according to the following schedules:
- Full summer: On or before 5 p.m. May 27
- Maymester: On or before 5 p.m. May 12
- Summer I: On or before 5 p.m. June 2
- Summer II: On or before 5 p.m. July 8
Dropping to zero hours is considered a withdrawal and the withdrawal refund schedule is applicable.
