Parking Services

Parking Services is a division of the Stephen F. Austin State University Police Department. Our mission is to provide the best possible customer support to students, faculty, staff and visitors by maximizing utilization of available parking spaces, by providing a clean, safe and friendly parking environment, and by accommodating campus parking needs and growth.

Parking can be a challenge on any college campus, and the SFA campus is land-locked which can make it even more so. College campuses are known for green, tree-lined, pedestrian-friendly, gathering places, which is in direct contrast to paving all property up to the front doors of our buildings.

The Parking Services office is located in the Wilson Street Parking Garage, near Lumberjack Landing. Our hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. except on university holidays.

All students, faculty, and staff are required to register any vehicle they drive and park on campus and purchase a parking permit. Parking regulations are enforced at all times. Refer to HOP 05-406 (parking services).
