Avoid unrecognized organizations. Unrecognized organizations are not officially supported or monitored by SFA, often due to violations or lack of affiliation with their recognized Greek governing body. Unrecognized organizations are not monitored for policy compliance and therefore participating in their activities may be unsafe.

The Multicultural Greek Council consists of five historically multicultural and latino recognized Greek-letter organizations. The MGC community strives to nurture multicultural interests, sponsor large-scale community service projects, foster unity among the MGC chapters, collaborate with other Greek councils throughout the year, and more.
