Getting involved
Joining a club, organization or honor society is a great way to make friends, get to know your professors and become a more successful student. SFA is home to more than 200 student clubs and organizations, including clubs for students interested in geospatial science.
The Student Association of Spatial Scientists
SFA’s Student Association of Spatial Scientists is open to any student interested in learning more about spatial science. As a member of this active organization, you’ll learn more about technology and career opportunities in this exciting field, participate in service projects and attend guest lectures and conferences, networking events and just-for-fun social activities.
To learn more about SASS, contact faculty advisor Dr. I-Kuai Hung at hungi@sfasu.edu.
